Since 1928, the transport of live poultry has been an integral part of our services at Risser’s Poultry. Through RP Transport Inc., a division of Risser’s Poultry, we provide comprehensive transportation along with the supporting services to ensure the safe and humane handling of poultry.

We maintain a fleet of trucks, pullet and fowl trailers, service vehicles, vans, and specialized equipment to facilitate the transportation of live poultry. Our vehicles and equipment are meticulously maintained to ensure safe and reliable transport of all flocks. Additionally, our team holds Poultry Handling & Transportation Certifications, demonstrating our commitment to best industry practices. Proudly located in Lititz, Lancaster County, PA, our central location allows us to efficiently serve producers throughout the entire Mid-Atlantic region.

We prioritize biosecurity to protect the health and well-being of our customers’ flocks and the welfare of the industry as a whole. We utilize a custom-engineered, automated cart/coop washing system that achieves consistent cleaning and disinfecting. This carefully monitored process ensures consistent biosecurity and provides assurance against disease or pest spread.
